This image comes from the aftermath of September 11, 2001 when I was living in NYC. During the Fall of 2001, I was working as a legal secretary for an art law firm. One afternoon (after the event), my boss invited me over to see his backyard in the middle of lower Manhattan. I remember seeing this fountain and was amazed that during such dark times, such beauty could be seen in the reflection of the bright and vivid green leaves. The image made a deep impression on me.
